24 Hours of Le Mans – The Hypercars have arrived!

The five cars in the new Hypercar class have taken up residence at the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit. The Toyota GR010 Hybrids, Glickenhaus 007 LMH and Alpine A480-Gibson will hit the track on Sunday for Test Day.

Though most teams have been on-site at the circuit in Le Mans since Monday, the Hypercars arrived in pit lane on Thursday. Now these stunning machines will face off at the 24 Hours after competing in the Total 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, 8 Hours of Portimão and 6 Hours of Monza.

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing's Toyota GR010 Hybrids have set up in the first two garages, Alpine Elf Matmut's Alpine A470-Gibson in garage 37 and Glickenhaus Racing's Glickenhaus 007 LMHs are further down in garages 42 and 43.

Prior to heading to Le Mans, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing and drivers Brendon Hartley and Kamui Kobayashi conducted a shakedown of the two GR010 Hybrids at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit to confirm all on-board systems are functioning properly in their Hypercars.

Test Day is scheduled on Sunday 15 August during which the teams will have nine hours of track time to fine-tune their machines.

The teams have now set up their garages in the paddock and support paddock at the circuit. High Class Racing, fielding two ORECA 07-Gibsons in the LMP2 class, have taken possession of two provisional garages between the Module Sportif and the grandstands building.
