American outfit Scuderia Corsa has taken part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice and finished on the podium on both occasions! It ran the same team this year as in 2015, namely Bill Sweedler, Jeff Segal and Townsend Bell. Last May, Bell also came close to adding the Indianapolis 500 Miles trophy to his collection.

Scuderia Corsa just competed in the second 24 Hours of Le Mans in the history of the team. After a podium finish at its first edition in 2015 (third in LM GTE Am), the American outfit did even better this year with a class win. The #62 Ferrari F458 Italia was driven by William Sweedler, Jeffrey Segal and Townsend Bell.
