On Monday in Paris at the Automobile Club de France, the FIA held its first Hall of Fame ceremony especially for endurance racing champions. A total of 29 drivers were inducted before an audience comprising the who's who of the discipline.

Though Sir Jack Brabham's experiences at the 24 Hours of Le Mans are linked to the constructors Cooper, Aston Martin and then Matra, the Australian legend did indeed participate in a round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) with Porsche.
