Ford – as you were!
The #67 Ford GT shared by Andy Priaulx, Marino Franchitti and Harry Tincknell was due to revert to a two-driver line-up after the 24 Hours of Le Mans. However, the team has now decided to stick with Harry Tincknell for the final six rounds of the season. Tincknell will therefore be racing in Germany but, in the meantime, the British driver will head to the Red Bull Ring in Austria for the European Le Mans Series. He will drive the #38 Gibson 015S Nissan for current championship leaders G-Drive Racing with Simon Dolan and Giedo Van Der Garde.
Aston Martin switching to two-driver line-ups
Aston Martin will be switching its LM GTE Pro drivers around for the remainder of the season. In the #95 Aston Martin Vantage, Nicki Thiim and Marco Sorensen will now be running as a two-driver line-up. Darren Turner, who started the season with them, is moving over to partner Richie Stanaway in the #97. Jonathan Adam and Fernando Rees have been dropped. The #98 in LM GTE Am will continue to run with Pedro Lamy, Paul Dalla Lana and Mathias Lauda.
