The 2022 Virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans will see 50 cars driven by professional drivers and simracers compete virtually in two classes, LMP and GTE, for 24 hours at the legendary Le Mans circuit on the rFactor 2 platform. The race will kick off today at 14:00 French time and end tomorrow at the same hour, finalizing the winners of not only the event but the 2021-2022 Le Mans Virtual Series, the esports championship season that began on 25 September with the 4 Hours of Monza.
You can follow the race live and in full thanks to a studio set up at Studio Gabriel in Paris in 2020. The broadcast will feature guests and feature high-quality footage from the event.
Realteam Hydrogen Redline's #70 ORECA 07 LMP2 started in pole position driven by Felipe Dugrovich, Oliver Rowland, Jeffrey Rietveld and Michal Smidl, and in GTE, the pole went to the Red Bull Racing Esports team's #111 Corvette C8.R.
