Founded by Graham Nearn, Caterham Cars was appointed as a Lotus 7 dealer in 1959 and took over the manufacture of the Lotus 7, (renamed Caterham 7) in 1973 after Lotus ceased production in 1972. Now, after half a century the Caterham 7 is still a benchmark for performance and handling, and sold in over 20 countries worldwide
But today, a new page has turned in the history of the English marque. Caterham will be at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Through Greaves Motorsport Zytek Z11SN - Nissan No.41. They have entered a very competitive class and will have a tough fight against the other 21 competitors in LM P2
Everything is now ready to make this 81st edition, a classic race. Will the Caterham have an appointment with history under the chequered flag on the 23rd of June at 15:00.
