Though Olivier Beretta has greatly contributed to Corvette Racing's record at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, he won only four of his six trophies with the official American team. It was thanks to the American manufacturer that the Monaco native won his first class victory (LM GTS) at the 24 Hours in 1999, winning with a Chrysler Viper entered by Oreca. He had the same teammates - Dominique Dupuy and Karl Wendlinger - the same car and the same team in 2000 for the same result!
