Today's Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo and Road to Le Mans results

Competitors hit the track today for the first Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo and Road to Le Mans free practice sessions ahead of tomorrow's races.

ROAD TO LE MANS | R-Ace GP Sets the Tone

Sylvain Guintoli is a 2014 Superbike winner (Aprilia), 2021 FIM Endurance World Championship title-holder, and 2021 and 2022 24H Motos winner (Suzuki). The French rider is competing again this year in the FIA EWC after joining BMW. In February, he announced a new challenge: to be the first racer to win both the 24 Hours of Le Mans and 24H Motos!

For his move to four wheels, Guintoli will participate in Road to Le Mans at the wheel of Steller Motorsport's #42 Duqueine M30-D08-Nissan. A veteran of the Bugatti, he has been familiarising himself with the great 24 Hours circuit along with teammate Sennan Fielding. The duo are at the head of the pack after today's two free practice sessions (7th then 4th). The LMP3 category was dominated by R-Ace GP's #85 Duqueine M30-D08 with a time of 03:46.651. The #88 Ferrari 296 GT3 topped the GT3 timesheet in 03:54.792.

Road to Le Mans entrants will hit the track again on Thursday 13 June for qualifying from 10:30 to 11:25 and Race 1 at 18:30.

Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo | Amaury Bonduel Always at the Front!

Amaury Bonduel proved fastest in the first Lamborghini Super Trofeo qualifying session (to determine the starting grid for Thursday's race) at the wheel of BDR Competition by Grupo Prom's #28 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO8. He placed his Italian V10 ahead of Sebastian Balthasar in Leipert Motorsport's #70. The pair were the only two drivers to clock a lap under 03:55 (03:54.694 and 03:64.985, respectively). Mattia Michelotto rounded out the top 3 in the VSR team's #6 with a time of 03:55.228.

Bonduel delivered another stunning performance during the second qualifying session to determine the grid for Saturday's race, improving his time to 03:53.369. The championship leader (competing in this series alone whereas most cars are shared by two drivers) has secured pole position in both LHST races! Georgi Dimitrov in Iron Lynx's #43 is hot on his heels though with a time of 03:55.12 followed by Enzo Geraci in Oregon Team's #61.
