The sound of the GreenGT H2

The fuel cell of the GreenGT H2 has been started! This avant-garde car will occupy the 56th pit of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013, succeeding the DeltaWing.

Grenoble, November 28; the fuel cell has been started-up for the first time, with a loading of 10,000 to 120,000 rpm. After a necessary period of burn-in which were tested separately the multiple components of its fuel cell, the H2 GreenGT entered its active phase of power tests.

The 56th pit is made available to a technologically innovative car invited by the ACO. It will be the GreenGT H2 that will run (outside classification) in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013

Jean-François Weber, head of the programme: "All the elements of our fuel cell have been properly tested. Particular attention was paid to testing the seals of different fluids (water, air, hydrogen), the dynamic behavior of compressors, as well as control procedures battery management and electric motors."
