The "Michelin Tower" lights up.

This year, the spectators of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will have a new way to follow the leading positions. A timing tower positioned near pit exit shows real-time data and the gaps between cars.

Before being lit officially tonight at 18:00 in the presence of Pierre Fillon (ACO President) will be used on Sunday for the test day, the big light panel was tested yesterday afternoon. The demonstration showed the name and number of the car, the position and number of laps - all scrolling from right to left at a moderate speed. The spectators at Scrutineering saw the system tested under the most unfavourable direct sunlight.
