The #31 Lotus Lola B12/80 Coupe - Lotus arrives

Lotus finally arrives at Le Mans due to a link up with the team that run the HRT F1 team in 2011 - Kolles.

The team which ran Audi R10s in 2009/10 runs a Lola Coupe in the familiar black and gold colours and Lotus badges on its Judd/BMW engines

The #31 Lotus Lola B12/80 Coupe - Lotus is driven by ex F3 driver Thomas Holzer, Mirco Schultis and Luca Moro and they finished 6th in class at Sebring. At Spa Renger van der Zande joined Holzer and Schultis but they retired, in the 2nd car Mora was joined by Kevin Weeda and James Rossiter who finished 11th in class.

The team ran 2 cars at Spa and also 2 (briefly) at the Test day as they had a reserve entry, but that has not made the race.

Holzer, Schultis and Moro were joined by van der Zande in car #31 at the test day whilst in the reserve #32 were Weeda, Rossiter and Dariusch Ahrabian.
