Laurens Vanthoor, who was at the wheel of an OAK Racing Ligier JS P2- HPD (retirement) in June, will take the start at the 84th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in Michael Shank Racing's Ligier JS P2 in LM P2 (if approved by the Selection Committee). However, it is at the Audi booth that fans will be able to meet him on Friday, January 22nd from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. as the Belgian driver was at the wheel of an Audi when he won at the 2015 edition of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring with the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT team.
Porsche beat its own win-record at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June with a 919 Hybrid, a model of which reigns over the German manufacturer's area, along with namely the LEGO 911 RSR that was presented for the very first time at Le Mans in 2015. The assembly of the 380,000 coloured bricks - which took nearly a month to complete - gives the illusion of a real car: it's only when you get up very close that you can tell half the car is indeed real and the other half is all LEGOS.
