Of the 45 cars that started the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual on Saturday afternoon, 37 crossed the finish line. The first six cars to take the chequered flag all completed 356 laps of intense racing. A total of 188,038 kilometres were covered during the event. The winners of the third 24 Hours of Le Mans: Virtual were Felipe Drugovich, Felix Rosenqvist, Luke Bennett and Chris Lulham, sharing the wheel of the #2 Oreca 07 fielded by Team Redline. In GTE, Alexander Smolyar, Scott Andrews, Timotej Andonovski and Erjan Jajovski brought home the #888 Ferrari 488 GTE, entered by Romain Grosjean’s team R8G Esports, in first place.
In addition to the race winners, the final round of the Le Mans Virtual Series saw Porsche Coanda crowned in LMP and BMW Team Redline in LMGTE. A total of 365,038 kilometres were covered over the course of the five races in the 2022-23 season.
This third edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual attracted 45 teams and 180 professional racing drivers and sim racers. Renowned makes such as Alpine, BMW, Ferrari, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche and Peugeot entered the event.
The real-life 24 Hours of Le Mans will be back on 10-11 June 2023 for the Centenary edition, with the fourth 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual set for 2024. Check out our photo gallery below for a selection of photos from the weekend’s sim action.
