Usual member of Toyota Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and participant in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the French driver hasn't forgotten his past as a rally driver. As much in World as in IRC (Intercontinental Rally Challenge), Stéphane Sarrazin has been able to show off certain skills that his current employer would be remiss to ignore. A few days ago Sarrazin was hard at work at a development session on asphalt for a WRC Toyota Yaris.

For now, no information is available from the Japanese manufacturer regarding the possible return to the World Rally Championship. Nonetheless, the work sessions proceed and the technical regulation changes of the WRC cars could be a reason for entries as of 2017. Until then, Sarrazin will resume activity in the WEC, with Alexander Wurz and Mike Conway, at the wheel of the No. 7 Toyota TS040 Hybrid for the next round at the circuit in Austin.

Sarrazin has 13 participations at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with 11 on board LM P1 prototypes (and LMP 900). The French driver has finished second three times in 2007 (Peugeot), 2011 (Peugeot) and 2013 (Toyota).
