This year, the Panis-Barthez Compétition team - a competitor in the LMP2 class - will have the honor of opening Scrutineering, the traditional kickoff of the big week of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. local time. The four Ford GTs will close out the two days of administrative and technical checks on Monday at 4:10 p.m., shortly after Toyota and two-time F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso at 4:00 p.m.
Scrutineering (free admission) is extremely popular with spectators as it's the first time of the week that you can approach the cars and drivers up close, a great opportunity to snap as many pics as possible!
