Oliver Gavin: "It’s almost a fairy tale story, the way it turned out. We started the week with the No. 63 having its issues and not being able to start the race. The way the team came together and led us into the race and enabled us to have this fantastic result today is amazing. It’s been one of those days where you’re waiting for something to spring up, another hurdle to get in your way and stop you from getting the victory. It was a spectacular race for Tommy [Milner], Jordan [Taylor] and myself. It was one of those events where you’re having great races with Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche and then in the end we were the strongest car and ended up coming away with a victory. We’re delighted."

Tommy Milner: "Being an American kid, born in Washington D.C., to come here to Le Mans, to represent Chevrolet as an American is very special. To be here is one thing, but to compete for wins—this is my second with the team—it’s incredible. I can’t say enough about this team. We had a tough couple of days, but we all pulled together. All the 63 car guys worked hard to help us in the race and here we are on the top step of the podium."

Jordan Taylor: "I think the car was strong all race long. Once the Ferrari dropped out, Ollie was in cruise mode after that. The Corvettes have a great AC system that I actually had to turn off in the night because I was too cold. The car was strong all race-long. We set it up to work well at the end of the race. You could see that progress as the race went on. The Aston and the Ferrari were strong in the beginning and we sort of crept up and by the end we were running with those cars. I’m happy to be here and to represent the brand."
 

Andrea Bertolini: "We have to say thank you, first of all, to [team principal] Boris [Rotenberg] and everyone at SMP Racing. Boris has a really strong passion for motorsport. For this reason, he built a strong team like SMP. Everyone on the team is very strong and focused. Also, this year, we have an LM P2 car. It’s a lot to look forward to, the new car. It looks fast.

"We are also here to speak about our race. Boris is a friend of the Ferrari family and we race with Ferrari. We had a strong car. Victor and Alex did a really amazing job. Like I said, everyone in SMP is very focused. If you win Le Mans, you achieve something really important. For SMP, it was the main target. We are really proud because we are part of a fantastic team like SMP, now we have to look forward, because that is our mentality. Tonight we enjoy the victory, but starting tomorrow we work toward the next day."
