Having clocked the fastest time in Friday morning’s second free practice session, Lilou Wadoux-Ducellier excelled in qualifying a few hours later. On her second lap, she stunned her opponents with a mighty 4:01.645. The twenty-year-old from Northern France continued to set the pace, beating teammate Tugdual Rabreau, who was in second place, by a full three seconds with a lap time of 4:01.228.
This Saturday morning, the 56 competitors in the Porsche Sprint Challenge France gathered behind their leader for their only race of the weekend. Under attack by her CLRT team-mate from the first braking action, she sought contact and sent him into a spin. With Rabreau out of the way, she very quickly extended her lead, one sector after the other. However, her efforts were frustrated when the safety car came out after a collision between three cars. It was decided that the repairs to the barriers would take too long and the race ended there, Wadoux-Ducellier have clearly dominated the weekend.
