Pierre Ehret therefore goes from one Ferrari to another since last year when he drove for CRS Racing. The British team finished fourth in the final standings of the ILMC LM GTE Am, but the 24 Hours of Le Mans resulted in a retirement. The German driver will return to La Sarthe for the sixth time.
The professional driver Dominik Farnbacher also changes form Ferrari to Ferrari, this time from Hankook-Team Farnbacher. After the second place finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans GT2 in 2010, the team was forced to retire last year. LM GT2 vice-champion of the American Le Mans Series with the Ferrari of the Tafel team, the German driver joins his compatriot Pierre Ehret, a former Wall Street banker, with whom he competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2006.
Like Dominik Farnbacher, Frenchman François Jakubowski, who raced the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the first time last year moves from the LM GTE Pro to LM GTE Am, and continues the adventure with Luxury Racing with whom he experienced a retirement in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2011.
The mixed professional / amateur driver combination perfectly meets the intent of the regulations in LM GTE Am and we can count on them to defend the team's effort in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Note that Luxury Racing entered two cars in LM GTE Pro last year, allowing it not to change cars during the offseason since, being a year old, the F458 Italia now becomes eligible in LM GTE Am
