Thus, from Monday 19th to Monday 26th May Le Mans 24-Hours fans can enter for the first ‘Social’ Race 24LM! The principle is simple: you have to boost the hashtag #Race24LM to move a virtual car forward. Once the Tweeters reach the marks of 1000 and 4000 tweets sent in presents to be won in a draw will become automatically available.
There are no limits on the number of tweets, and everybody can play several times to reach the marks set as quickly as possible.
The finishing line set at a mystery hashtag number will enable the lucky player to win a VIP weekend at Le Mans for the race on 14-15 June.
The principal of moving a car forward and winning lots is simple:
• Use the hashtag #Race24LM in one of your tweets on Twitter.
• Prizes will become available when the 1000 and 4000-tweet marks are reached. The winners will be drawn by lots among the Tweeters having taken part (1st mark: 5 general enclosure tickets – 2nd mark: 5 clothing ensembles from the official Le Mans 24-Hours Collection).
• The first surfer to cross the mystery finishing line with his/her message using the hashtag #Race24LM will win the VIP weekend for the Le Mans 24 Hours on 14-15 June (2 pitwalk passes). The next two Tweeters across the line (in 2nd & 3rd places) will each win two general enclosure tickets and two seats in the La Chapelle grandstand.
