Le Mans 24 Hours - nine-time winner Tom Kristensen is writing a book!

He may have retired from racing at a tender age, but Tom Kristensen is by no means inactive. The Dane continues to work as fitness consultant and brand ambassador for Audi and is currently writing his memoires of Le Mans, which will be published this June, to coincide with the 83rd edition of the race.

Last Wednesday in Hamburg, Kristensen was at the first leg of the RCCO slot car championship. He may have given up racing, but his competitive spirit is still alive and kicking. He gave his all to beat fellow countryman Anders Fjordbach, a GT driver for Audi.

Having been named Grand Marshal of the Le Mans 24 Hours 2015, Kristensen will be driving a real car to lead the field to green in the formation lap of the greatest endurance race on earth.
