Stéphane Sarrazin's helmet colours are a perfect summary of his career, whether it be single-seaters, rally or mainly endurance with Aston Martin in GT, then Peugeot, Starworks Motorsports and Toyota.
Stéphane Sarrazin: "Since Formula Renault, I have worn a very visually identifiable helmet: a globe on top, with a lot of blue, pink and yellow in zig-zag. I've tried to progress over the years with my painter, namely by tryingn to personalize my helmet according to the teams with which I was running. In rally, with Subaru and Peugeot, when I was racing in the Monte Carlo rally, I had inscribed the name of special timed races. That helmet is now exhibited at Castellet. When I was with Aston Martin, I had my name on top of chrome helmets. After that, I had the Peugeot lion painted on the sides. Now, for example, on my helmet there is a somewhat marbled blue that brings to mind the Toyota TS040 Hybrid. I also did helmets that carried the name of the circuits at which I was racing. But the globe on top is a recurring figure of the traveling driver at races all over the world, even though I do not have it on my helmet for the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year. The image of my helmet has even become the logo for the television station, Motors TV."
