Drivers set great store by the design and colours of their racing helmets. Max Angelelli and Jordan Taylor of American team Wayne Taylor Racing explain why.

Max Angelelli and Jordan Taylor drivers are well known in endurance circles. They have been driving for Wayne Taylor’s team in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for several years now. Angelelli drove the 24 Hours of Le Mans four times between 1999 and 2002; since then his career path has taken him to the United States.

Taylor also has four Le Mans 24 Hours’ to his name (2012–2015), all of them with Corvette Racing. Last year was his most successful to date, when he won the LM GTE Pro class with Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner in the Corvette C7.R. This year, he and brother Ricky will both be competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with their father Wayne’s team, although they will be in different cars.
