IMSA – A special livery for Ford Chip Ganassi Racing at the Rolex 24 at Daytona

Ford Chip Ganassi Racing's two Ford GTs set to take the start at the 57th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona (26-27 January) will sport liveries paying tribute to a past win at the race as well as a very loyal sponsor.

The #66 Ford GT to be driven by Joey Hand, Dirk Müller and Sébastien Bourdais will be decorated in the same colors as Roush Racing Motorcraft's Ford Mustang that won the GTO class at the 1985 Rolex 24 at Daytona. That year, the car shared by John Jones, Wally Dallenbach, Jr. and Doc Bundy also clinched the IMSA title in the same class.

The livery for the #67 Ford GT to be driven by Ryan Briscoe, Richard Westbrook and Scott Dixon will pay tribute to long-standing Ford sponsor Castrol. This is the first time since 2016, the year the American marque returned to GT, that the Ford GTs will be decorated in special liveries.
