Hold on to your hat and take a ride in a Corvette C8.R for a lap of the circuit!

Are you ready for the roar of a 5.5-litre V8 with 500 hp? Experience a lap of the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit at the wheel of LMGTE class icon, the Chevrolet Corvette C8.R, via an on-board camera.

The 24 Hours Centenary in June marked the final appearance of Corvette Racing's #33 Corvette C8.R in the race. The swan song resulted in a well-deserved win in the LMGTE Am class. The victory came after a rocky start that saw the American team forced to replace a faulty front right shock absorber, losing two laps and almost all hope of claiming the top step on podium. The entire team worked tirelessly to get back in the race, and by Sunday morning the car had rejoined the party. The drivers ramped up their pace until Corvette Racing clinched a ninth class win.

Next year, LMGTE Am will become LMGT3. The TF Sport team will field the new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R and take on the Porsche 911 GT3 R, Ford Mustang GT3 and Ferrari 296 GT3.

The on-board camera lap of the Peugeot 9X8 demonstrated the importance of traffic management for drivers in the Hypercar class, but it's just as crucial in LMGTE Am. During this lap, Nicolas Varrone is overtaken by Nielsen Racing's #14 ORECA 07-Gibson as well as by a Ferrari 499P and Cadillac Racing's #3 Cadillac V-Series.R. The Argentinian driver must maintain stability during the overtakings, remain laser-focused on the race and avoid impeding contenders for the overall win. Michel Ligonnet, who took the start in the 24 Hours six times between 1995 and 2001, used to say: "It's like watching a play from the front row. You see these competitors and wish you were in their place."
