In addition to the program in the FIA World Endurance Championship with his own car (interview here), Henri Pescarolo has the entry of the Dome S102.5 Judd. He explained the interests of the Franco-Japanese alliance.
A strange destiny for the Dome S102. Designed in 2007, it raced only once in competition, the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2008. After several return projects - all aborted - it helped Toyota Motorsport who used it under the utmost secrecy to test the hybrid system for the future Toyota LM P1. So it was thought to have been definitely put back the garage for good, but it is back again, this time under the care of one of the most emblematic figures of the 24 Hours of Le Mans: Henri Pescarolo.
How did Pescarolo Team and Dome come together?
Henri Pescarolo: "The Japanese contacted me through an engineer who had worked for us. They were instructed to find a team, perhaps the best for their car."
You immediately accepted?
"Yes, and with enthusiasm, because it is a real constructor project. The Dome company has great reputation in Japan where they outsource for brands such as Toyota, Nissan and Honda."

How will the Dome S102.5 be different from the S102 car seen in 2008?
"Dome have been working hard to develop the car, including a wind tunnel programme. The front ed will require modification to accommodate the same tyres as Audi and Toyota. It is very important because Michelin is focusing its work on developing this product line."
What will the role of Pescarolo Team?
"Dome will provide us with a turnkey prototype. It will be up to us to develop and operate it at the 6 Hours of Spa, the WEC and Le Mans 24 Hours."
What does this program cost you?
"Nothing, it is fully funded by Dome."
What interest has Dome in having you race this car?
"The manufacturer Dome has a very specific reason to come show his skills at Le Mans ... I can not say more, I'll let you guess!"
Who are the drivers?
"There will be Bourdais and Minassian, two former Peugeot drivers. They will be supported by a Japanese driver to be nominated. It is not yet decided but it could be Seiji Ara (winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2004)."
