At the Prologue, teams make first adjustments to their cars in preparation for the upcoming season. The official testing sessions are also an opportunity to test out rookie drivers, like Rebellion Racing's Felipe Nasr, or welcome new recruits like Brandon Hartley (2017 24 Hours of Le Mans winner with Porsche LMP Team) joining TOYOTA GAZOO Racing. As you can see in the official photo, the Prologue is when many teams choose to unveil new liveries. For example, Aston Martin Racing giving its two Aston Martin Vantage AMRs a new look for the LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am classes.
After the Prologue, FIA WEC competitors will head to England for the 4 Hours of Silverstone.
