Danish team High Class Racing formed by Anders Fjordbach has been a competitor in the European Le Mans Series since 2017 and is now set to participate in the 2019-2020 season of the FIA World Endurance Championship with an ORECA 07-Gibson fielded in the LMP2 class. The car has been given a new livery, the racing number 33 and will be entrusted to Mark Patterson, Anders Fjordbach and Japanese driver Kenta Yamashita, discovered by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing. The team will take part in the FIA WEC Prologue on 23-24 July at the circuit in Barcelona, Spain.
High Class Racing is currently 12th in the LMP2 teams classification in the 2019 European Le Mans Series. The outfit also took the start in its first 24 Hours of Le Mans last month, with the #20 ORECA 07-Gibson crossing the finish line in sixth place overall, 11th in LMP2.
