Appearing first in 2006, the F430 GT marked the return of Ferrari in the GT class, with a car jointly developed by Ferrari Corse Clienti and Michelotto for LM GT2. From that first year, Risi Competizione gave it its first American Le Mans Series before accumulating Team and Drivers' titles in the ALMS in 2007 and two consecutive victories in GT2 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2008 and 2009. After that season, Risi Competizione also boasted a unique triple crown; in addition to Le Mans, the American team had also had success at Sebring and Petit Le Mans!
