Ferrari AF Corse line-ups confirmed

Ferrari AF Corse has confirmed the names of the drivers who will line up for the squad in the FIA World Endurance Championship, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The racers who played a key role last season will all be back.

Ferrari AF Corse is preparing for the 2024 FIA WEC season with its two 499P Hypercars entrusted to the same driver line-ups as last term. Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen will share the #50 car, while Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi join up again in the #51.

“A Commitment to continuity”

Ferrari finished the 2023 campaign in second place in the Hypercar World Endurance Manufacturers’ Championship“The choice to retain the drivers who competed last year with the 499Ps for the Ferrari - AF Corse team in the 2024 FIA WEC season reflects a commitment to continuity,” explained Antonello Coletta, Global Head of Endurance and Corse Clienti. “In 2023, with these crews undertaking their maiden outing in the top class of the world championship, we accomplished remarkable results including a victory at Le Mans and six podium finishes out of seven races. These achievements allowed us to secure an excellent runner-up spot in the Constructors' championship by the end of the year. Together we have gained experience as we continue to develop our car and demonstrate its potential. Building upon these foundations, we look forward to the now imminent 2024 season with optimism, renewing our confidence in our drivers.”

The #51 Ferrari 499P that the trio of Pier Guidi/Calado/Giovinazzi drove to a stunning victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary race is currently the showpiece of a special exhibition at the 24 Hours of Le Mans Museum. An amazing opportunity for fans of the Prancing Horse to see the now legendary Hypercar at close quarters!
