Racing in FFSA GT, Fabien Barthez did not have outstanding success in his first competition at Le Mans finishing a modest ninth place in Saturday's race, the Ariégeois was let down by a wheel bearing on Sunday. The unfortunate weekend did not, however, prevent him from enjoying the facilities of the circuit, "impressive" in his own words.
When asked about his desire to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with his team, the former goalkeeper said: "I will one day. It is a goal that I have in a small corner of my head. It must be done."
Fabien Barthez will race the final round of the GT Tour on the 28th of October on the Circuit Paul Ricard HTTT.
