Oliver Turvey with his compatriot and DTM regular Gary Paffett, the young (26) Briton is one of two test drivers for McLaren, on simulator and also on the track. Yesterday he did aerodynamic testing for the development of the 2014 car. Turvey covered nearly a hundred laps and set the fifth fastest time of the day. Note that in these tests, he took over the wheel of the McLaren-Mercedes MP4/28 from Kevin Magnussen, the son of Jan Magnussen, Corvette Racing factory driver in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and American Le Mans Series (ALMS).
In ELMS, Oliver Turvey is half of a British duo with Simon Dolan driving the Zytek Z11SN-Nissan of Jota Sport. Together they will try to stay in the title race in 2013 that looks hotly contested over the three remaining rounds, as the level of LM P2 prototypes, MotoGP series is noted with Thiriet By TDS Racing, Alpine Signatech Murphy Prototypes or Morand Racing.
