Bruno Famin new Director of Peugeot Sport

Technical Director of the 908 HDi FAP and 908 programmes in endurance racing from 2007 to 2010, Bruno Famin becomes the new Director of Peugeot Sport.

Bruno Famin originally joined Peugeot in 1989 in the Customer Competition department Peugeot Talbot Sport. Then, still within Peugeot his career took him to Latin America. In 2005, he became Technical Manager of Peugeot Sport. Under Michel Barge, and then Olivier Quesnel, Bruno Famin was responsible for the 908 HDi FAP programme, from 2007 to 2010, Peugeot scored four consecutive pole positions and won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2009 (with Australian David Brabham, Spaniard Marc Gene and Austrian Alexander Wurz) and won the 12 Hours of Sebring (2010) and two consecutive titles in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup in 2010 and 2011. After the withdrawal of Peugeot earlier this year, Bruno Famin was in La Sarthe in June, as very interested spectator of the 80th edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours.

Bruno Famin (age 50), will come under the authority of Vincent Rambaud, CEO of Peugeot.
