After the Indianapolis 500 (2010, 2011), the Belgian driver will make his assault on the Le Mans 24 Hours. Before that, the driver of the Oak Pescarolo LM P1 will contest his 'home' race at Spa-Francorchamps.

What happened during the first session of practice?
Baguette: "To be honest, it has not started very well. The settings that we had planned did not work well. It understeers too much. The problem should be solved because we have changed several parameters. We are not worried."

What will be the key to success Saturday?
"The use of tyres. There has been a lot of rainfall recently. The track is washed clean and there is a terrible lack of grip. It is difficult to maintain the temperature of the rubber in the right 'window' of useability. Oak Racing is the only team using Dunlop in LM P1, and this could be decisive for the race on Saturday. Our tyres perform well and, most importantly, they are very consistent on long runs.

Jacky Ickx, Paul Frère, Olivier Gendebien… You are the latest in a long line of Belgian drivers in endurance racing. Do you feel a special interest here from spectators at Spa-Francorchamps?
"I am at home, I live 15 km from here, I already feel a certain expectation on the part of spectators. I know they will have an eye on me on Saturday. So I try to do my best to shine at home. It will not be easy to dislodge the four Audis from the podium, but ... you never know? endurance races are often lively! "
