A winner since the Australian round, Sébastien Ogier can tackle the last race of the season with ease. Julien Ingrassia left his co-driver seat for the special reconnaissance trip in Wales to Leena Gade, the first engineer to win at Le Mans, in 2011 with Audi.
Gade is present in Wales as a member of the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission, just like Swiss native Susie Wolff, Williams test driver in F1, who did a lap to the right of Chris Meeke, Citroën Racing driver.
Leena Gade shared her feelings after getting out of the car: "It was incredible and over way too quickly. An unbelievable experience. These guys are nuts!", she said. The most impressive thing is the speed that he took through the corners and how smoothly the car handled jumps. I was expecting a big impact on landing but there was none - it was actually quite comfortable. The braking too was incredible. Compared to what I'm used to seeing in LMP this was something else. Awesome skills from Seb and fascinating to see how it's done."
In about 10 days, Gade will rejoin the three former world endurance champions for the 6 Hours of Bahrain, the final round of the 2015 World Endurance Championship (WEC) season, and will help them attempt to snatch the title won in 2012 once again.
