An Automobile Club de l'Ouest official, Herv

After three hours of a straightforward and fast race, the Jagonya Ayam with Eurasia team and its No. 9 Oreca 03 (LMP2 class) won at their very first appearance in the Asian Le Mans Series this third round of the 2015-2016 season, the first conducted on Thai land.

It finished ahead of three other LM P2 prototypes: the No. 25 Ligier JS P2 of Algarve Pro Racing, the No. 8 Oreca 03 of Race Performance and the other Oreca 03 of Eurasia Motorsport (No. 99). In fifth place figured the first LM P3, David Cheng's No. 1 Ligier JS P3 ahead of the first GT, Nexus Infinity's No. 27 Ferrari. Then came the No. 5 Audi of Absolute Racing, the No. 91 BMW Z4 of Team AAI , that team's Mercedes, the No. 3 McLaren of Clearwater Racing and the Adess LM P3 (No. 89) of Team AAI. The sole car in the GT Am class, KCMG's Porsche (No. 51), finished 12th ahead of the other Audi R8 (No. 7) of ARC Bratislava and the No. 38 Ferrari of Spirit of the Race. The two Wolfs in the CN class did not make it to the checkered flag.

As was sensed following the very violent incident on Saturday for the second Adess of Team AAI, the team proved unable to make repairs in time to take the start. Team AAI does however promise to be at the start of the fourth and final round of this 2015-2016 season, at Sepang (Malaysia) on January 24th.
