The conclusion of the 2022 European Le Mans Series and the Michelin Le Mans Cup has seen the first invitations issued to the 100th anniversary of the legendary French endurance race. The seven teams who already hold their entry ticket are:
Prema Racing: 2022 ELMS champion (invited to compete in LMP2)
- Panis Racing: 2022 ELMS runner-up (invited to compete in LMP2)
- Cool Racing: 2022 ELMS LMP3 champion (invited to compete in LMP2)
- Proton Competition: 2022 ELMS LMGTE champion (invited to compete in LMGTE Am)
- Kessel Racing: 2022 ELMS LMGTE runner-up (invited to compete in LMGTE Am)
- Iron Lynx: 2022 ELMS LMGTE third-placed team (invited to compete in LMGTE Am)
- GMB Motorsport: 2022 Michelin Le Mans Cup winner (invited to compete in LMGTE Am)
The 2023 Asian Le Mans Series, which begins on 11 February, will offer further opportunities to pick up a precious ticket to compete in next year’s 24 Hours. The winner of each class (LMP2, LMP3 and GT) will be invited*.
*A minimum number of entries for the season may apply.
The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship organisers will also have two tickets : John Farano in LMP2 and Ryan Hardwick en GTE Am.
