The 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary has been honoured this year in proper fashion both on and off the track. An official celebration was held on the pit straight in front of thousands of spectators the day before the big race, a truly unforgettable and extraordinary experience.
On the track, seven Hypercar manufacturers (Toyota, Ferrari, Porche, Glickenhaus, Cadillac, Vanwall and Peugeot) battled relentlessly, cheered on by a crowd of 325,000. Ferrari scored a historic 10th win (the first since 1965) after a hotly contested 24 hours of racing, the first for its 499P!
The 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship season will continue with the 6 Hours of Monza (9 July), the 6 Hours of Fuji (10 September) and the 8 Hours of Bahrain (4 November).
The Automobile Club de l’Ouest has chosen 15-16 June 2024 for the 92nd 24 Hours, with a field of endurance racing competitors like never before! And, the race will mark the first appearance of the new LMGT3 class. Le Mans will serve as the fourth of eight rounds on the 2024 FIA WEC calendar.
