The city centre parade before the 90th edition of the classic race will set off at 5pm on Friday 10 June, the eve of the start. Unique to Le Mans, the popular gathering has not been held for the last two years due to the pandemic, so this year fans and drivers will relish meeting again. Motorsport aficionados from around the world join locals in lining the streets to salute the 186 drivers and their sporting achievements, past and future. In return, drivers hand out signed photographs and other goodies, engraving the smiles and cheers in their memories, ready to be drawn on when the going gets tough.
This year, the Classic Automotive team promises a feast for the eyes and ears, with stunning vehicles and uplifting music. Don’t miss the auction held on the same day, at 11am, on the Jacobins square near the cathedral.
