Michel Vaillant will join the prestigious "IAME International Final" that will be held between October 15th and 19th on the Le Mans International circuit. This race, gathering more than 300 hundred drivers, representing 25 countries and the 5 continents, will be the event of the year. Entered in X30 Senior with number 143, Michel Vaillant will race the last generation of the chassis « Vaillante », engineered in secret by his brother Jean-Pierre.
The victorious team Vaillante, with successes in all classes of the Motorsport, from Formula 1 to GT passing through rallies and tourism cars, recently beater of the speed record for electric vehicles on the salt lake of Bonneville, will chase nothing less than the victory in Le Mans in front of the most valued chassis manufacturers as Tony-Kart, Kosmic, Art GP, Birel, Praga, Sodi. Vaillante, who never steps back any difficulty, will challenge teams as VDK Racing, RSD Karting, Dischner Racing, Scuderia PCR, RK Compétition or Super Winforce RT, all used to the great Karting events.
Leader, the well-known opponent of the clan Vaillant, could not stand aside. Under well-kept secret, the team by Mr. Chunsheng, still embittered with the unsuccess of his prototype Watt-a-Watt, has also prepared an innovative chassis for this meeting. The Kart will be driven by Bob Cramer, with number 223 in the X30 Senior class. Controversial, complex and with a tortured mind, the American has already raced in Le Mans for the Texas Drivers Club (Album « the 13 is at the start »). It’s rumored that he has an account to settle with Michel Vaillant...It is one of the oldest rivalries in global motorsports!
Before this highly anticipated visit at the Circuit International de Karting, recall that Michel Vaillant's victories, disappointments and other exploits in Le Mans can be found in "Le 13 est au départ" (The 13 is at the start) as well as "Le grand défi" (The big challenge), "Concerto pour pilotes" (Concerto for drivers), "Le fantôme des 24 Heures" (The ghost of the 24 Hours), "Champion du Monde" (World Champion), "Un pilote a disparu" (A driver has disappeared), "Une histoire de fous" (A story about crazies) and "24 Heures sous influence" (24 Hours under the influence).
