24 Hours of Le Mans - Free Practice is under way

The 60 entrants for the 85th running of the of the 24 Hours of Le Mans are out on track. They have four hours of free practice in which to prepare for the race.

As the lap times in the practice session are of no consequence, teams use the time to adjust the car’s settings. Rookie drivers will already have driven the course on Test Day.

Some teams focus on the race and plump for long stints at the wheel; others have their eyes on the clock and opt for aggressive setups. Watch out for the traffic!

According to the green Rolex clock above the pit lane, it is 30°C out there.
