100th anniversary poster

The Automobile Club de l’Ouest’s communication department designed the poster with one question in mind: “Who will prevail in this year of all years?”

The six major manufacturers in the Hypercar class line up for a showdown. Celebration and commemoration are the watchwords in this design, which emphasises a turning point in the race’s history.

The poster incorporates a nod to the first 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1923, when the poster featured an owl perched in a tree, symbolising the all-day, all-night battle.
