24 Hours of Le Mans - 25th anniversary of the Audi TDI diesel engine (video)

Diesel technology won for the first time at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2006 thanks to Audi and the R10 TDI of Frank Biela, Emanuele Pirro and Marco Werner, but it was much earlier that the Ingolstadt manufacturer began to develop a diesel engine for its street cars.

For the 25th anniversary, the marque revisits a quarter century in this video.
