24 Hours of Le Mans – 2021 Road to Le Mans 46-car starting grid

Forty-six cars are expected to hit the track for Road to Le Mans, fourth round of the 2021 Michelin Le Mans Cup, a support race at the 89th 24 Hours of Le Mans on 21-22 August.

Regular competitors in the Michelin Le Mans Cup will be joined by quite a few newcomers for the support races scheduled on Thursday 19 August at 19:30 and Saturday 21 August at 12:15, just a few hours before the 89th 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The GT3 field will see 11 cars (seven teams): five Ferrari 488 GT3s, two Porsche 911 GT3Rs, one Aston Martin Vantage GT2, two Audi R8 LMSs and one Mercedes AMG GT3. Championship leader Nicolas Leutwiller will share Pzoberer Zuchsee by TFT's #2 Porsche with Julien Andlauer. Sarah Boby, making her rookie start in the 24 Hours with Iron Lynx, will be replaced by Manuela Gostner in the team's #9 Ferrari. Emmanuel Collard (24 participations at Le Mans) will take the wheel of Racetivity's #83 Mercedes with Charle-Henri Samani.

The LMP3 class will boast 35 cars (21 teams): 25 Ligier JS P320s, nine Duqueine M30-D08s and one Adess-03 EVO. The United Autosports team's #22 Ligier leads the championship ahead of Nielsen Racing's #7. Wayne Boyd, making his debut in the 24 Hours with United Autosports, will be replaced by Duncan Tappy at the wheel of the #23 Ligier. Defending champion DKR Engineering will be represented by Jean Glorieux and Laurents Hörr in the #3 Duqueine.
