The European Le Mans Series (ELMS) competitors will be on the track from Monday, the 23rd through Wednesday the 24th, while those in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) will make it to the south France Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th.

In addition to the 2015 versions of the Audi R18 e-tron quattro, Porsche 919 Hybrid and other Toyota TS040 Hybrid (LM P1 class), the new Oreca 05 (LM P2 class) will make its first official appearance. Only two teams will race the car in 2015: Thiriet by TDS Racing and KCMG, entered in the ELMS and the world championship, respectively. Both will of course be at the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It will also be the first European appearance for the American team Extreme Speed Motorsports, a player in the American Le Mans Series and the Tudor United SportsCar Championship. These four days of tests will allow the world to discover the cars in their final liveries which they will sport for the entire 2015 season.

The teams present at Le Castellet will come together twice this year: first at Silverstone (U.K.) for the opening rounds of the ELMS (Saturday, April 11th) and the FIA WEC (Sunday, April 12th), and of course on the starting grid of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (Saturday and Sunday, June 13th and 14th).
