Besides the OAK Racing #45 Morgan-Nissan (the clip is here), another "art car" was unveiled during the Test Day on June 9th: British team JMW Motorsport Ferrari 458 Italia, racing in LM GTE Pro. Mickael Guyot from Le Mans is the 2013 winner of Dunlop's design competition although he competed for the very first time!
The winner has of course unveiled the Ferrari under the iconic Dunlop bridge. The face of John Boyd Dunlop (1840-1921), who founded the eponymous company 125 ago, is displayed on the doors. Si Michelin will try to add a 22nd victory - 16th in a row - Dunlop claimed the most wins in the Sarthe as it has 35 victories, the last one back in 1991. Dunlop was then part of the only victory of a Japanese car-manufacturer at the 24 Hours of Le Mans as Johnny Herbert, Volker Weidler and Bertrand Gachot took the checkered flag first with the Mazda 787B.
