2024 24 Hours of Le Mans – What's happening on Thursday 13 June?

Thursday's Hyperpole main event will see 24 cars hit the track simultaneously at full throttle to determine the pole-sitter for the 92nd 24 Hours of Le Mans. Highly anticipated support races such as Road to Le Mans, Lamborghini Super Trofeo and Fun Cup are also on the programme today.

24 Hours of Le Mans | Free Practices

Four more hours of track time await the teams entered in the 2024 24 Hours, the final opportunity to optimise car set-ups before the big race. Drivers will cover as many laps as possible to familiarise themseles with the legendary, yet demanding, circuit. The first session is scheduled from 15:00 to 18:00 and the second from 22:00 to 23:00.

24 Hours of Le Mans | Hyperpole

For the Hyperpole, the 24 cars (eight Hypercars, eight LMP2s and eight LMGT3s) that qualified the day before will go after the perfect lap. The fastest time in each driver line-up will determine the classification. Competitors are prohibited from entering pit lane or refuelling, but are free to choose tyres within their quota for the event. A ceremony with the pole-sitters will be held afterwards in the pit straight. Last year, Ferrari AF Corse's #50 Ferrari 499P clinched the Hyperpole with a time of 03:22.982.

Road To Le Mans

Two qualifying sessions for Road to Le Mans entrants are scheduled from 10:30 to 10:50 then 11:05 to 11:25, then it's time for the 55-minute Race 1 starting at 18:30.

Lamborghini Super Trofeo

After their free practice and qualifying sessions, Lamborghini Super Trofeo drivers will take the track for their first race from 13:15 to 14:00. Amaury Bonduel, driver of the #28 Lamborghini, recently won both races organised in this series at the TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

Fun Cup

Fun Cup competitors will take advantage of 1 hour 45 minutes of track time today for Free Practice 2 from 09:00 to 10:00 and Qualifying from 12:00 to 12:45 ahead of tomorrow's four-hour race. What a blast to watch 118 Beetles take over the 24 Hours circuit!

Arnage in the Race

Every year, nearly 100 collection racing cars gather in the town of Arnage at the place François Mitterrand for "Arnage in the Race." This 10th edition will pay tribute to Alpine's return to Le Mans in the Hypercar category. A parade of approximately 80 sporting and exceptional cars is on the programme in the heart of Arnage from 12:30 to 13:00.

From 09:00 to 17:00, place François Mitterrand in Arnage, free

OJOS and Bigflo & Oli Concert

In 2022, Bigflo & Oli released their fourth album, called "Les autres c'est nous," recorded over the course of two years in Toulouse, Barcelona and Los Angeles. With a billion+ views on YouTube, a billion+ streams, a million+ albums sold, three Victoires de la Musique awards and 10 NRJ Music awards, Bigflo & Oli is a bona fide phenomenon. It has taken the duo only a few years to become a superstar on the French music scene, and after a sold-out Zéniths tour in 2023, the duo has announced a stadium tour for this year.
