WEC - A London Olympic Games medal-winning gymnast supports Porsche in Shanghai (video)

For the 6 Hours of Shanghai, fifth round of the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season, Porsche has a notable guest in Marcel Nguyen, a famous gymnast in Germany. He discovered the 911 with Marc Lieb last year and this year he's back with his fellow countryman behind the wheel of the 919 Hybrid entered in LM P1.

Marcel Nguyen, of a Vietnamese father and German mother, is a real star in Germany. Several time winner at the European Championship of gymnastics, the German won two silver medals in the parallel bars, but especially in the head category of the discipline, the general competition, at the London Olympic Games in 2012. This weekend, he will follow the race from Porsche's pit, like half the drivers, including Timo Bernhard and Romain Dumas, victorious at the 2010 24 Hours of Le Mans, had to familiarize themselves with the Chinese circuit, as explained in this video.
